  'Symphony of the Seas'

The complex nature of Orofacial Pain (OFP) conditions and the crossover to other branches of dentistry as well as Medicine make the diagnosis and treatment of OFP conditions often cumbersome and difficult. The lack of coordination and consensus amongst different organizations concerned with the management of these patients also make this a complex issue. TMJ conditions form only a portion of these OFP diagnoses. This course is meant to describe the basics of OFP/ TMJ/ TMD and give the principles of evidence-based Diagnosis & Treatment for these conditions. The science of Sleep Medicine will also be discussed. The significant morbidity and mortality associated with Sleep disorders is well documented in the literature. You will learn how to treat patients with sleep disordered breathing utilizing oral appliances. Pain is integrally related to sleep!!

Sailing to: Montevideo, Puerto Madryn, Stanley, Ushuaia, Punta Arenas, Puerto Chacabuco & Puerto Montt

Comprehensive or full mouth rehabilitations require skill and technical knowledge of the stomatognathic system as well as an understanding of the materials needed to revamp a patient’s dentition. Experience from years working with difficult and different cases may create somewhat of a routine in their management. On the other hand, prosthodontic techniques and evidence-based science provide more precise guidelines.  These lectures will allow clinicians to proceed with complicated treatment cases making it easy and predictable by breaking things down into simple, planned steps to achieve beautiful results with every case.

Enigmas in Dentistry

When you first graduate from dental school, you have certain convictions and beliefs that you thought you learned and that the School has taught you. Then over the next few years you are in for certain surprises. Some of them pleasant, some of them not so pleasant! We will try to scientifically unravel some of these enigmas based on evidence and literature. These will mostly be case-based discussions. This course is intended to elaborate clinical pearls you could take home that have applications in your practice.

Practical Contemporary Occlusal Concepts
outlines an evidenced-based practical approach to the understanding and implementation of occlusal therapy in everyday practice. Many of our colleagues are unclear as to what occlusion means to them or more importantly, what it means for their patients. What might appear at first to be a complex topic, especially with the abundance of apparently conflicting theories and treatments, once simplified to the essential elements, is in reality, fairly straight forward. This program will clarify the topic of occlusion, especially related to its significance and practical application in daily practice.
