Objective:

In today's highly competitive world of private practice with it's pressures that run the gamut from managed care to an ever shrinking profit margin, carving out a specialty niche in the area of Sports Medicine may be just what the doctor ordered!!

The athlete and recreation oriented patient provides a unique challenge to optometrists. Their demand for excellence in eye health, eye protection, and visual-motor performance enhancement, challenges the eye care practitioner to maximize the performance results for these patients.  This series of lectures will prepare you to help your athlete patients, and thus carve out a practice niche for additional business, so that you and your patients will be able to "Go For The Gold!"
