Today’s parents demand the restoration of their children’s teeth for function and esthetics.  Various restorations for children and teens will be illustrated.  Techniques for providing preventive orthodontics for children and young adults will be taught with techniques for use in everyday practice.  The various types of disabilities will be discussed and various treatment modalities will be illustrated to make you and your dental team more comfortable in treating this special population.

  • ·        You will learn when and how to use celluloid strip crowns

“Interceptive and Minor Orthodontics”

  • ·            You will learn the advantages of early orthodontic treatment

  • ·        You will learn how to diagnose and treat oral habits

  • ·        You will learn how to adjust orthodontic retainers

  • ·        You will learn how to correct simple crossbites

  • ·        You will learn how to correct ectopically erupted molars

“Tricks or Treatments or Techniques for Treating Our Special Patients”

  • ·        You will learn various non-pharmacologic methods of modifying behavior

Dr. Margolis received his certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He is a Clinical Instructor at Loyola University Oral Health Center.  Dr. Margolis has lectured nationally in pediatric dentistry, dentistry for the disabled, and laser dentistry, and has presented for the ADA, California Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting, the American and International Academies of Pediatric Dentistry and many others. He is a Member, Bd. Of Directors, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Dr. Margolis has recently been selected as a “top CE lecturer for 2008” by Dentistry Today.
