The Gran Hotel Havana Barcelona is a first class hotel extended and upgraded to deluxe in 1991, and completely redecorated in 2002. Its location is the Casa L. Fradera, an historic building dating from 1882.
Located on Barcelona's Gran Vía, the hotel is right in the centre of the city, only a step away from the most emblematic buildings of Gaudí, the mythical Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter.
This duality of the Gran Hotel Havana is typical of Barcelona, where tradition and the avant-garde coexist happily together. Which explains this 19th-century building with a 21st-century interior. Also how its modern concept of service is based on traditional ideas of hospitality.

Located in L’Eixample, Barcelona’s “new town,’ its extention beyound the old city walls, actually contains a glorious grid of 18th and 19th century buildings, including the most vibrent examples of the moderniste movement. The famous Quadrat d’Or (Golden Triangle) has been named the world’s greatest living museum of turn-of-the-20th-century architure.
If moderniste architure, designer shopping, and high-class restaurants are your bag, then the L’Eixample is the place to be. Of course it is also just a short walk to the Barri Gotic.
Our Grand Place restaurant is open every day of the year. It offers tasty seasonal menus featuring our traditional "arroz marinero" (fisherman's rice). There is a Menu de Dégustation with original dishes based on the latest trends in Catalan cuisine. We also do a menu of the day at a very accessible price (23 €).
Every day we prepare for you a full buffet-breakfast, served between 7:00 AM and
10:30 AM, including a varied selection of pastries, fresh fruit and a range of
hot and cold dishes. If you prefer, you can opt for the dieter's
buffet-breakfast.
The 145 rooms, totally redecorated in 2006, all have modern furnishings, satellite TV, wireless Internet, minibar, individual control of central heating and air conditioning, desk, safe, hair dryer, etc. The furniture is made of African bubinga wood.
For one of the most pleasant stays in Barcelona, the hotel offers room service, babysitting service, laundry service, and dry cleaning.

Barcelona:
Barcelona is a medieval city surrounded by baroque quarters surrounded by the finest Modernista buildings (Spanish Art Nouveau, notably the architecture of Antoni Gaudi). For the 1992 Olympic Games the city was blessed with a wealth of modern recreational facilities. Barcelona can be enjoyed in a day, however there is so mush to see and do you’ll be happier spending at least 2 or 3 days. The city is also a good base for exploring the small towns and wild coast of Catalonia.
Enjoy the architecture, museums, churches, and the beach. You’ll never run out of things to do.
